UNOMIG was established in 1993 as an organization with 121 military and 12 civilian officials to guarantee compliance with the ceasefire agreement between Georgia and Abkhazia. The draft bill received on Monday unanimous approval from all the 15 member countries of the UN Security Council. Unfortunately, even the history and events that took place in the past are explained and converted to information that pertain to different parties and sides, which means that each one of the sources that extracts and presents the historic information would be reflecting different historians’ schools, ideas, opinions, agendas, emotions, preferences, prospects, and expectations. The assembly contains cities from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). In its 11th congress on September 28 in Ufa, capital of the Bashkortostan Republic, members of the congress reached decision to have Abkhazia as part of the assembly. Yuri Lujkov, Mayor of Moscow, heads the assembly. Among the 64 cities are Moscow, Yerevan, Tshinval, Bishkek, Alma-Ata, Habarovsk, Tiraspol and Lugangsk.
