Hatsia said that there was no shooting from the Abkhazian party. “Any data concerned wounded men is especially out of the question", - the minister told.

The deputy commander-in-chief of the Land forces of Russia on peace-making forces general-lieutenant Valery Evnevich was not allowed passing from Tbilisi to Abkhazia where on Sunday an echelon with division of Russian 15-th separate peace-making brigade should have arrived.
"General-lieutenant Evnevich went to Sukhumi through the western Georgia but, on our data, on one of posts he was not allowed moving farther, and now he’s coming in Sukhumi through Vladikavkaz and Sochi", - informed on Saturday a representative of the staff of the CIS Collective peace-making forces (CPMF) in the Georgian-Abkhazian conflict zone.

Unknown persons abducted the father and son Khurtsia in Gagida, Gal district, at 6.30 this morning, Abkhazia's Internal Affairs Minister Otar Khetsia told Caucasian Knot's correspondent.
Eyewitnesses say that eight people in masks armed with automatic weapons came to the house of Guliko Khurtsia and brought him away together with his son Ruben.
Abkhazia's Foreign Minister Sergei Shamba says that he is seriously concerned over increasingly frequent provocations in the borderline Gal district. Mr Shamba believes that the Georgian party is deliberately trying to exacerbate the situation in the district to prove the need of introduction of UN forces to it.
