Committee for the Salvation of Mr. Ibragimov, comprising representatives of over a dozen countries, informs the human rights organizations of the following. If Said-Emin Ibragimov dies or goes into coma, his hunger strike will be continued by Larisa Volodimerova, to protest against the Council of Europe’s inaction and to draw the attention of CE’s General Secretary Terry Davies, President Sarkozy of France, Federal Chancellor Merkel of Germany, and Prime Minister Brown of Great Britian to the Russian occupation of Chechenia and genocide against Chechens.
