18/10/2006 Case of Kondopoga fight instigator delivered to the court
The criminal case of the fight instigator in the "Chaika" restaurant of the Karelia town of Kondopoga at night on the eve of August 30, 2006, where then mass disorders burst out, has been transferred to the court. The prosecutor's office of Karelia has approved the indictment on the criminal case in relation to Sergey Mozgalyov - the instigator of the fight in the Kondopoga "Chaika" restaurant.
The investigation has found out that Sergey Mozgalyov and his friend Yuri Pliev had provoked a conflict with the barman and beat him and the restaurant administrator. The incident became a pretext for a mass fight, in which two local citizens were killed, the Gazeta.Ru reports.
We remind you that the cause of disorders in Kondopoga was a mass fight between locals and Caucasian natives, in the course of which Gregory Slizov, 27, and Sergey Usin, 32, a security of the Central District Hospital, were killed.
According to the militia, practically all the members of national minorities, including the Chechen Diaspora, left Kondopoga.
