As the local judge of peace of Cherkessk Zaur Hachirov informed on Wednesday "Interfax-South" agency, as an occasion for that trial a statement of claim of a jobless 55-years old citizen, not Slavic origin served.
"In the newspaper of the free-of-charge announcements printed in Cherkessk, in the heading "Work Offers" there was an announcement in which one of firms operating on the real estate market looked for an employee. Among desirable parameters potential employer specified that the future employee should be a Slav. The claimant had seen in that infringement of the constitutional laws and addressed to local peace court", - explained Hachirov. He said that the claimant demanded from the owner of the agency his public apologies in mass-media and refusal of discrimination within his personnel selection.
During the judicial session the defendant - the owner of the real estate agency - informed that the national parameter was mentioned because he wanted to prevent situations when employees of the firm could have at his presence any private conversations in their native language with friends coming to them. Such situations had already happened, and the owner of the agency did not wish to hear speech he could not understand. "It was found out also that despite of his intentions, the defendant has already taken for work an employee - not Slav. He had admitted his mistake and had apologized in the newspaper published the challenged announcement. The case ended with the agreement of lawsuit", - noted Hachirov.
