On October 23, in the village of Ekazhevo in the Nazran region, Russian security officers detained local residents, brothers Maksharip and Amerkhan Khidriyev, reported the information center of the Council on NGOs in Chechnya (SNO) on October 25. The detainees are suspected of participation in the August 13 explosion on the "Saint Petersburg - Moscow" train.
A search was conducted of the Khidriyevykh house. Those close to the brothers assert that Maksharip and Amerkhan can have no relation to this act of terror. On that day, August 13, the brothers Khidriyevykh were part of a bridge building brigade working on piling concrete slabs at a bridge crossing the Sunzha River.
