Three Ukrainian journalists, arriving in Moscow on December 29th to cover Russian- Ukrainian negotiations on gas issues, were detained in Sheremetyevo Airport. Russian customs officers intended to confiscate their video equipment, stating that the necessary documents had not been applied for.
The journalists spent more than three hours in customs. The leader of the Time Party, Vladislav Kaskiv, who was with the journalists, conducted negotiations with the customs officers. The customs service permitted the journalists to have their video equipment on condition that they leave Russia with it within twenty-four hours. Vladislav Kaskiv was given the responsibility of ensuring that the journalists fulfill this order.
