On Friday, 19 children from the village of Inosemtsevo (Stavropol Region, Russia), aged 8 to 13, were hospitalized supposedly suffering from mercury poisoning. As REGNUM was told in local emergency service, at present time 13 of the children were discharged from a hospital in Zheleznovodsk. The other six still need medical supervision.
The mercury was spilled over the ground at Pushkin street, 1, near a local arts college and its dormitory. «The hospitalized kids live in the dormitory,» said a spokesperson for the local emergency office.
By the 13 children that were discharged from hospital the diagnosis of poisoning was not confirmed. Medical condition of the other six is stable.
