NIZHNY NOVGOROD. March 25 (Interfax) - Administrative charges have been brought against 29 demonstrators in Saturday's March of Dissent in Nizhny Novgorod, regional police told Interfax on Sunday.
Their cases have been referred to a court, a police official said.
In all, 102 people were detained on Saturday, including 25 at the venue of the march, in Gorky Square. Twenty-two of those detained claimed they were members of radical organizations, he said.
Eleven of the demonstrators detained had arrived from Moscow, six from St.Petersburg, one from Tatarstan and one is a citizen of Latvia.
Twelve journalists were detained, among them four foreign reporters. They were questioned and released, police said. sd
