Mikhail Kriger, chairman of the public committee, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent about it. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent learnt about it from Lyubov Kosik, advocate of the ex-FSB officer who is serving his four-year imprisonment term. We remind you that on March 9, 2007, the Tagilstroj District Court of Nizhni Tagil made a decision to transfer Mr Trepashkin, allegedly for admitted custody regime violations, from the colony-settlement, where he was serving his verdict, to the general custody colony. This issue was discussed by the members of the Public Chamber at the sitting of the Commission for Public Control Over Activity of Law Enforcement Bodies, Power Agencies and Reforming the Judicial-Legal System, the "Gazeta.Ru" reports with reference to Anatoly Kucherena, Chairman of the Commission. In Mr Kucherena's opinion, the European Court can only compensate a citizen's moral damage, but it cannot rehabilitate him or her.
